For the record, this is funny. But damn if it doesn’t also just feel like someone’s punched me in the gut. How does it make you feel?
I would write more, but I’m flaring. (Yes, again.) And I was up way too late last night watching the Cubs win the World Series!

Prompt 3: Find a quote that inspires you (either positively or negatively).
Love it! I finished mine by shear will bc half through I started to flare. My answer to that question is “I’m working on it.” Rest well.
Great answer!
I actually like when people are honest with me. If I ask them how they feel, and they say, “Not so good,” then I know where they are and how to be most compassionate in that moment. Still, the sentiment is funny, and sometimes I am standing in front of someone or on the phone 30 minutes later, still listening to how awful they feel, and wishing I could cut it short. :/ #impatientme
I can definitely see both sides! On the one hand, we want to be able to be honest when we answer (which can be a complicated and long story to tell) and on the other hand we can’t help but be VERY aware of how being on the listening side of things can drain us of our much needed Spoons!
