After a few technical difficulties, Day 1 of my One Zentangle a Day video series is complete. I practiced three patterns today: Static, Tipple, and Crescent Moon.

I almost didn’t get this video made, because my phone ran out of memory. Yes, that’s right, I record with my old LG. It’s not ideal, but it works for a girl on a budget. Anyway, after buying and installing a handy new SD card, I was back in business.

i hope to one day get a dedicated camera for recording video, but I should probably make sure this is something I want to keep doing at the end of the series. I don’t doubt it will be rewarding and fun, but it may require too much work, or I may just be too much of a perfectionist and unable to let the flaws go. Editing videos would be quite the learning curve for me.

but enough of my babbling, right? Let’s watch the first One Zentangle a Day video and learn the patterns for today: Tipple, Crescent Moon, and Static.

Please be sure to like and share this video on YouTube. Every interaction helps me build a better channel!

if you are a Zentangle enthusiast too, I encourage you to get the book and follow along with me. I’d love to have some company as I endeavor to learn the Zentangle Method and explore new (to me) patterns.

Have you already completed the book? Leave me a comment and tell me how you liked it.
